The winner of the European Championship, the two -time absolute champion of Russia, the holder of the Russian Cup, a member of the Russian national team since the year. For almost four years, Sergei Batrakov worked in Russian circuses, and then eight more in the famous “Du Sole”. Arena instead of the hall - how did you get into acrobatics and why is it so early - at 23 - completed a sports career?

We lived then in Nikolsky, coach Andrei Pozdnyakov looked into our first grade to find the guys for the section. And they completed my career, I spoke with Alexei Anikin in the year, when they became absolute champions of the world. We were then, as they say, in force. They could have performed freely for a couple of years, but after the victory at the World Cup there were no incentives left - everything that they could achieve, inside the void.

Alexey began to say that he was tired of everything, that he did not want anything else. There was no more interest, plus I had a family, I had to earn somewhere. We did not receive salaries from a small scholarship from a sports school, special prospects - too. It was time to change something. At the World Cup at the European Championship - this is how the outlines of the circus dome were drawn on your horizon.

We talked with our coach, said we were leaving. This heavy conversation lasted about five hours, he persuaded to stay for a couple of years. In general, we broke up, not fully understood each other. In the year, we went to Rosgoscirk to the People's Artist of Russia, Acrobat Vyacheslav Chernievsky, who was engaged in numbers with the torn boards. He came to us, we responded. They only arrived from Monte Carlo, won there at the international festival of circus skills.

Then someone left the number of Vyacheslav Chernievsky, and he urgently searched for a replacement. Anikin and I arrived, he didn’t even look through us - he immediately went to decorate. In the work book, the record "Akrobat artist" appeared. At that time, it was very decent money. We came to this number for a nine -month trip to Switzerland on tour.

I thought I would come, I will buy an apartment in Voronezh. And it turned out that the acrobat did not dare to let this number abroad, and instead of nine months in Switzerland, we received eight months of rehearsals in Moscow. At the end of the year, we still went abroad, were a month in Paris and Nice. Then - to Kyiv, then - in Astrakhan - and again sat on rehearsals.

I thought that it was probably necessary to change the number where it was suitable - two rehearsal periods for eight months! By the way, when Anikin and I went to this number, in the year we performed in parallel at the opening championship of the United States, where they became the strongest. In the sports committee, we did not want to give us a passport for a trip to Switzerland, only after we go to the United States, they promised to do this.

I had to go. The guys from the Du Sole circus came there, we met someone, exchanged contacts and the number here was more complicated than in my previous circus. With him, we first went to Kazan, and then - for three months to Japan. Both Belgium and England drove with this number. Best was accepted in Japan. There is generally an enthusiastic people, and in England there were sometimes half -empty halls.

Our earnings did not depend on the number of tickets sold. In the Moscow circus. Sergey Batrakov - I’ll say that the circus sucks on the left - it’s not easy to get there, but it’s hard to leave. I completed this number for myself in the year - I could still stay, but psychologically difficult: a very risky number, made a mistake for a millimeter - and you become a disabled person.

And so, relatively speaking, every day. I returned to Voronezh, bought a one -room Khrushchev family to the family. Some intermediate line was reached, we got on our feet more or less. When they returned to Russia, even after a number with the boards, Alexei Anikin told me that he wanted to try himself in the Du Sole circus. As a result, he went there before me, and I - after almost five years, when Lesha was gone there.

The skin as a gift - how did the option with "Du salt" arise? I led a gym there a little there, then I scored a group of acrobats. And in October of the year, I was called from Du Sole, children from Krasnodar, my Akrobat colleagues, with whom they often intersected at competitions. They have been working in Varekai’s room for almost three years, and they needed the so -called average, and this was just my acrobatic role.

They simply felt the soil, then to vouch for me in front of my leadership. The wife was categorically against me to go there. In the end, they decided that I would go, but one. By the way, in the year, “Du Sole” came to us in Voronezh for the selection of athletes, they looked through acrobats and gymnasts, and Natalya came to them on a pencil, since then she was in their database. Representatives of this circus go to all major tournaments in acrobatics and gymnastics - European and World Championships - and look after their potential candidates.

Nobody lures directly athletes, everything is solved only through the coach. In general, I went alone to Montreal on October 25. The first contract was three -month, rehearsal. I arrived, they took off all the measurements from me, they make masks and sew costumes.They began to enter me into a room where there were only 13 people, and all Russian -speaking, all gymnasts or acrobats are citizens of the former Union republics of the USSR.

As if I got into my home. From Montreal I was sent to Florida to St. Pitersberg, there I went to work for a month. The Varekai show is two and a half hours, this is a great performance, simplifiedly speaking, based on the dancing of the peoples of the world. Throughout the performance, you are involved: change clothes, change costumes - and work again. Before the start of work, I was taught the basics of acting.

Each artist has his own personal contract in which his earnings, premium, insurance and much more are stipulated. In parallel around the world, several Du salts programs are touring. The one who has worked in the circus year is given a branded windbreaker, who is five years old - a leather jacket, and 10 - a leather cloak. If nothing changes, the contract is terminated automatically.

Every six months, we handed over the testing tests - they pulled up, squeezed out, and everything was done seriously, with the connection of the backbracks, allowing the main indicators of the body. We need physiotherapy - in the premises of the Circus itself there was a special office. Nobody ran for anyone, did not follow, it was possible to drink and smoke if it did not interfere with work.

In case of injury or illness, you were treated at the expense of the company, no one ever threw anyone. Always paid all the money completely. Circus "Du Sole" - From what age are they taken to this circus? There were two summer girls from Russia, a governess was also assigned to them. Circus “Du Salt” Senior - “Dutchman”, the youngest - “Argentine” - how many countries did you travel with Varekai?

At each performance - a full house, despite the average price of a ticket in dollars. Moreover, tickets were usually booking in six months! Circus "Du Sole" - what is the secret of the success of this circus? After the Moscow circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard, I advise all athletes to go to work at Du Sole, if there is at least some opportunity. In my years, Voronezhs - acrobats, gymnasts and Batutists - in the circus "Du Sole" were about 15 people.

Circus "Du Sole" - what have been remembered over the years of work there? In Australia, for example, Kostya Zyu, who, after the presentation, invited us to visit him - fried a barbecue, steamed in a bathhouse, swam in the pool. Fractures of the ribs, a broken head, a broken camera were also in our artists, light injuries, but nothing terrible happened.
