Therefore, Karkov created a gang that was engaged in robberies on the underground millionaires of Moscow: antiques, drug dealers and even police officers.

He performed custom -made murders with special atrocities: he set fire to a man with gasoline, doused his face with boiling bitumen. It was for this that he received his nickname.

Mongol also gave his respect to Vyacheslav Ivankov to the Japanchik, who later created his own group. One of the active participants in the criminal group was Vladimir Bykov known nicknamed Balda. He pretended to be mentally ill with each detention, which in the future “saved” him from the criminal term, because he received another treatment in a psychiatric hospital.
