But in connection with the transfer of the musical itself, this event also had to be postponed. However, the planned interview with Alexis still took place - modern technologies came to the rescue.

Monsieur Luazon kindly agreed to give an interview through Zoom, because for the Internet the distance of a km does not matter. Alexis Luazon Alexis Loison - a French actor, singer and producer, is most famous here as the performer of the role of Romeo in the Asian round of the musical "Romeo and Juliet" J. About Russia, "Romeo and Juliet" and forgotten words - Alexis, good afternoon!

Thank you for agreeing to this interview! I will start a conversation with this question: have you been to our country, in Moscow or in some other city? Perhaps you heard something about Russia and the Russian public from your colleagues? From the artists from Romeo and Juliet, I heard that all the show in Moscow were amazing, there were 11 performances per week, and there were always full halls, all places about the tour of the musical in March in the GKD - approx.

The audience very hotly met the artists, my colleagues really liked the Russian public and perform in Russia. Technically, it is from the point of view of vocals, it is not so difficult, I can sing, I can sing, I fulfill all the parties of Romeo, but emotionally this is a very exhausting role, since Romeo experiences and shows a lot of strong emotions. After the performance, I take a day of rest, and then again I go out onto the stage and give out everything I can.

Romeo sings a lot, a lot, but singing is not the most difficult thing in this role, it is difficult to emotionally convey the character, I am very getting used to this role, it requires a great return from me. Shakespeare wrote this story as a love story. But included in the story of strength, superiority and power, in the story of two clans, two families. This is a story about their relationship, about how the features inherent in that time are manifested.

This is a very multifaceted story, showing all relationships between people. And the images of Romeo and Juliet themselves are a core, a center around which other events unfold. But for me this story is more about pride, strength and power. Yes, this, of course, is a love story. But also about ambitions, superiority, about very strong feelings. Maybe there were funny cases?

I played this role for only 4 months, has always been focused, because 4 months is very little for the actor to get used to the role and situation, at least a year. Something always happens on the stage, various events, interactions between Benvolio, Mercutio and everyone else. But during this project I did everything, I have never forgotten anything. Funny moments were during the performance of Gaston!

When the hero sings a song and conducts the orchestra, I once forgot the words, completely, just a white leaf, I can’t remember anything! And I began to improvise ... I sang some nonsense, trying to put it on the melody, these words did not belong to the musical and, in principle, did not make any sense! The audience probably did not notice anything, because this is a slightly different interpretation, different from the adaptation.

My stage partners looked at me with big eyes during the performance and then laughed for a long time. But it was a nightmare, a nightmare for everyone! And for me - first of all, this is a terrible feeling when you do not remember your words. And during the Briolin musical there is a scene when we roll out a real car on stage, but the old and rusty. And during the song we put it in order, and it turns into a chic, brilliant, amazing car.

And once we push this car on the stage - but it does not go. The brakes were blocked, and we understand that we cannot move it out of place. But we were not at a loss, filled this moment with songs and dances, got out, was great, it fit well into the canvas of the musical! About hobbies, travel and public in different countries - Alexis, what do you like to do in your free time?

And I like to travel, especially when there is more time for it than one or two days, at least a week, better than two. And where do you like the most of the places where you were? But I was really impressed by China. When I go on a trip, I look at new cities not just at a new point, but I see part of the story, part of the culture, I really like to recognize new cultures, people and explore historical places.

If we compare with America, where I worked a lot and went there as a tourist, then China impressed me as much as possible. The audience in Asia is more restrained during the show, but in the end they approach the official exit, wait, ask for an autograph and making a joint selfie. Sometimes the actors go out in the lobby of the theater to chat with the public. And this is a huge difference with European viewers, you are very glad to see outside the scene, they are violently welcomed!

About children's dreams, examples to follow, roles of dreams and an alternative profession - who did you want to become in childhood? Have you always wanted to be an actor?My favorite films with him “Briolin” and “The fever of Saturday evening”. I dreamed of playing the role of Danny in Briolin! And when I returned from the tour in Asia G, as part of the troupe "Romeo and Juliet" - approx.

And, of course, I agreed, since it was my dream, this is one of my dream roles! I really like him as an actor and as a person, he is amazing, he seems very reliable, he is married to his wife for many years, he has a charity fund. It always seemed to me that he is a very good and kind person. I was lucky to meet him in Paris during the Briolin promotion tour showing their common photo on the phone, and Hugh Jackman had a presentation of his project.

And this is an amazing sensation when you meet your idol, expect anything, but your expectations make excuses - Mr. Jackman turned out to be a really very kind, pleasant person, I was again impressed at that moment. Hugh Jenman delights me as an actor. By the way, he played the role of Gaston in Australia! And I also wanted to play this role, it was another dream of mine when I found out about this fact, it seemed to me that I almost repeated the fate of Hugh Jackman.

A good example, right? But when I came to the audition, they told me: “Yes, you come to us, you look like Gaston, you eat like Gaston, but you need to pump up muscles.” And I agreed - I like it in itself, especially if necessary for the role. And I went to the hall with pleasure! It turns out that the roles of Denny and Gaston you have dreamed about are already played.

Are your dreams come true? Or is there any other role that you would like to play? What is the next goal and dream? Now I want to realize myself in producing, this is one of my main goals. But also someday I would like to play Jean Valzhan in the "outcasts". If this is not a secret of course! Now I am working on a project that will be released in Paris in the city of me and 2 more co -authors are working on the film, this is an adventure story.

There are still ideas of several projects, but I can’t tell about this in detail now. I shot several short films. I like to engage in the producing of the movie, as I adore the cinema industry since childhood. My grandparents raised me. And if not an actor, I would work in specialized centers for the care of older people. After a pause, my production company adds the name of my grandfather.

About relaxation, describing yourself and frequent issues - you have such a rich creative life, so many projects! And how do you rest at the same time, what's the rest for you? I read, I like to go to the cinema, for me it is a reboot, unloading of the brain, I find something new for myself in this. I go in for sports, go to the gym, but not only for muscle increasing, but it is rebooting myself and my thinking.

It’s like yoga, by the way, I do a lot of yoga, for me this is a way to concentrate, calm my thoughts. I do not just pull iron to be in shape, but also to focus on myself in order to connect the mind and body in order to remove the excess and concentrate on one thing. The constant, ambitious, modest, workaholic and dreamer turned away and thought about it. Here, it turned out 5!

Yes, sometimes these qualities are not compatible with each other, but often they manifest themselves, however, of course, not always all together. Alexis carefully looks at the watch, and I understand that time is coming to an end. Most often they ask me a question, at master classes, for example, “What is the secret of success, successful people? But the fact is that there is no answer to this question, there is no single formula.

You need to be a workaholic, you need to work a lot, you need to respect yourself and your colleagues, with whom you work together, you need to set your own goals and go to them, realizing - what you need for this. You need to be very responsible, stubborn, always come on time, constantly develop, take care of yourself and partners and be sure to rehearse and go to listen a lot.

I wanted to ask Alexis to give some advice to young actors or adolescents who think of choosing this path - and without knowing it, he answered this question. Alexis gives the impression of a good, open and responsible person. Monsieur Luazon very emotionally tells some stories, answering the question, actively gestures, but at the same time the story is not dusk, everything, as they say, is “on the shelves”.

He answers some questions very interestingly, especially non -banal: first turns away, thinks for a few seconds, and then expanded and tells in detail. The initial time of the interview was limited to minutes, but in the end we imperceptibly spoke for almost an hour.
