Despite its shortcomings, it is widely known among players of the prefecture and coaches as “amazing binding” and “absolute genius”. After joining Karasuno, he manages to change his attitude for the better and understand that he is part of the team with the help of his new friends.

The appearance is high growth of Tobio and its obvious discharge in the team, as they say, are its most famous physical characteristics. He often emits a rather frightening aura, caused by the fact that his face seems to be not able to express any emotions other than frowning. Kageyama's hair is short-cut, with a bang falling on his dark blue eyes. He, as a rule, is dressed either in school uniforms or in practical clothes.

His habit of complaining about the effectiveness of their game and the constant “barking” led to the fact that his comrades gave him the nickname “king of the site” - a constant reminder of his gloomy, self -centered nature, which he demonstrated during his volleyball career in high school. However, most of his classmates and acquaintances do not know that Kageyama is actually more sensitive than it seems.

He simply does not know how to manage his disappointment, therefore he expresses his emotions in such a rude form. After everyone in the secondary school of Kitagawa Daichi turned away from him, Tobio was filled with genuine regret and constant fear of distrust and contempt, but refused to openly talk about these feelings before the confrontation of Tsukishima. Despite his problems with communication, he sincerely wants to self -improve, and when it comes to a real game of volleyball, he turns into a passionate and devoted binder, worried about every successful step with Hinata.
