One can imagine the excitement of the grandchildren of the hero, secretary of the Union of Journalists of Russia Julia Zagitova, for whom the day turned out to be especially emotional and complex.

He was an amazing person, amazing and the story of his feat. And he was indeed a real warrior: he was awarded the orders of the Red Banner of the Red Banner, the Order of the Red Star, a medal for courage, a medal for combat differences. Unfortunately, he lived a very short life. He died already in peaceful life when he was only 32 years old. And today, it seems to me that we are restoring justice when here, in the center of our Ufa, on behalf of the entire multinational people, we erect a monument to its feat.

We will remember the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, the heroes of Afghanistan, the heroes who fought in the anti -terrorist struggle in the Chechen Republic. And, of course, remember the heroes of a special military operation. Let the memory of the heroes live forever. The Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Andrei Nazarov spoke about the opening of the monument to the hero of the Great Patriotic War Gazia Zagitov on his page on social networks.

In April, Zagitov with his comrades scouted an unrecognized channel with a crossing near the Reichstag. Intelligence results were immediately reported to the command. Yu. Yu. She really wanted the hero to have a modern museum, which will become a point of attraction. In the small homeland of the hero there is a building where exhibits, historical documents are stored, there is a wonderful keeper of the museum.

But the room is in no way suitable for the museum, there is not even heating. At the same time, the population needs memory, especially the younger generation. Julia also performed with this idea at the Republican Forum "Ataisal". Now a huge job is to be implemented. It is important not only to open a museum, but to assign it the status of a cultural institution of federal significance.

The monument was cast in the sculptural and production plant "Lit Art" in the city of a bronze monument. The weight of the figure is more than 2 tons, lined with granite. The height of the monument is almost 8 meters: the pedestal is 3.4 meters, the figure of the soldier is 2.7 meters.
