Kurchenko biography
Born on September 21 in the city of Kharkov in a low -income family. In school years, he was actively involved in sports karate. From the age of 16 he worked at the company "Expogaz". For two years, S. Kurchenko has gone from courier to the deputy commercial director, who oversee the direction of small -optical trade. In a short period of time, he actually organized a profile division of small -optical trading liquefied gas from scratch.
The projects implemented by him made it possible to significantly increase the profit of Expogaz. At the same time, from for a year, Kurchenko studied at the Kharkov Polytechnic Institute National Technical University, received a basic higher education in the direction of Economics and Entrepreneurship, and the qualifications of a bachelor's accounting and audit. In the year, at the age of 19, Kurchenko left the company "Expogaz" and took up an independent business.
The experience and attracted financing allowed him to carry out a number of successful investment projects in the primary construction market and on the land market in the Kharkov region. A good conjuncture allowed the entrepreneur in three years to accumulate capital sufficient for entering the liquefied gas large -optical trade market. After receiving the Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute in the National Technical University of the Kharkov Polytechnic Institute with a degree in intellectual property, Kurchenko moved to Kyiv.
The liquefied gas market began to actively develop in the year, when domestic production ceased to satisfy growing needs. Imported deliveries have increased significantly. To work in this direction, S. Kurchenko created the company "Gas Ukraine". The existing capital, the accumulated connections in the business environment, the selected team of professionals allowed the company in a short time to establish partnerships with liquefied gas producers both inside Ukraine and beyond.
Today, the GAZ Ukraine Group of Companies occupies a leading position in the Ukrainian market of large -optical trading liquefied gas, controlling a significant market segment. Stagnation of the oil refinery of Ukraine led to a significant increase in imports of imported fuel. The prospects of this business segment led to the organization in the group of companies "GAZ Ukraine" directions for the sale of oil products.
A detailed market analysis, an effective strategy and a high level of trade communications made it possible to obtain favorable conditions from suppliers - manufacturers. Developing this direction over the past 3 years, the group has taken a leading position in the oil products market of Ukraine. Today, its clients are all large networks of the country's gas station.
From the beginning of the year, the group began to create their own sales network of gas stations in Ukraine and in the markets of Central Europe from the beginning of the year to form stable sales channels. From the year, the group’s active expansion to the markets of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan has begun. Currently, up to 40 percent of the group’s operations account for these states, and its development strategy provides for further growth in this direction.
In parallel with the development of business for a year, Sergey Kurchenko studied at the National University of Law Academy of Ukraine named after Yaroslav the Wise ”, received the second higher education in the specialty“ Jurisprudence ”and the qualifications of a lawyer.
Today, a group of companies includes structures involved in the trade in natural and liquefied gas, oil products, banking, exchange trading, construction and other areas. The annual turnover of the group is about 10 billion. The system of long -term contracts formed by the group in recent years allows us to ensure uninterrupted supply of consumers of Ukraine by all types of fuel products, regardless of market conditions and other factors.
The funds accumulated by the group allowed Sergei Kurchenko to begin the implementation of large social projects. In the year, he became the owner of the Kharkov football club Metalist and further intends to invest significant funds in support of national sports. The East European Fuel and Energy Company announced the creation of a vehicle trading house, which will be engaged in the sale of petroleum products in the Ukrainian market.
